What is a server?

Determining the name of a computer

Note: If you are trying to determine the name of the computer running the license server, you need to complete this procedure on that computer.

To determine the name of a computer:

  1. On your Windows desktop, click Start > Settings> Control Panel.

  2. From the list, scroll to and then double-click System.

    The System Properties window appears.

  3. Locate the line Full computer name, and then make a note of the name.
  4. Click [Cancel].
